The ‘Orange Julius’ Green Smoothie

The most refreshing smoothie high in Vitamin C, potassium and chlorophyll. The flax is your healthy fat which stabilizes blood sugars and supports healthy elimination of excess estrogen and toxins. Ginger is added for a little warning kick and to support motility in the gastrointestinal tract. If you don’t like the taste of parsley, I’d skip it. This herb is great however for bloating and water retention during your luteal phase (PMS). Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 banana

  • 1 navel orange peeled, cut in half

  • 1 tbsp parsley, if you want to up level this

  • handful of spinach or leafy green

  • 3-4 zucchini slices, I used frozen

  • 1 tbsp of flax seeds

  • 1 cup of coconut water

  • ginger root knob, peeled

  • dairy free protein powder
