Chocolate Avocado Pudding - Bruce's Roots
I'm so excited to share this recipe with you guys! I'm just going to get right to it. I recently took over Pranin Organic's Instagram stories and this is the recipe I choose to make.
I've been a Pranin Pure Foodie for several months now and I'm over the moon about it because it means I get to sample their products. Pranin makes whole food vitamin supplements. They grind up whole foods that are high in Vitamin B, Iron, C and they have multivitamin/prenatal multivitamin. This is not a paid post, I just think it's ideal to use whole foods over supplements when possible.
This avocado pudding is easy, healthy, gives you a boost and tastes so good.
I've added carbs, a little protein and lots of good fats to keep those blood sugars stable. You can add a little protein powder if you want to up the protein. I suggest having this treat in the morning or early afternoon hours as it's energizing due to the vitamins and beet crystals.
Did you know beets are high in nitrates which get converted in the body to nitric oxide? This allows the blood vessels to open more and impacts how cells use Oxygen.
What I'm trying to say is, beets are a great pre-workout.
RECIPE
Serves 2.
Ingredients
- Pranin Organic Vitamin B, C, Iron scoop, only add Iron if deficient
- 1 tsp Pranin Organic Multivitamin powder, optional
- 1 tbsp nut butter of choice, I used Fatso
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds, I use Manitoba Harvest
- 1 tsp whole flax, my blender grinds it up
- 1-2 organic bananas
- 1 avocado (I had 1/2 a fresh one and then I added frozen chunks to make up the remaining)
- 1 tbsp cacao, I used Giddy Yoyo
- touch of unsweetened almond milk
- dash of organic cinnamon
- 1 tsp of maple syrup
Directions
Blend and top with coconut yogurt, beet crystals, cacao nibs and coconut. One of these beauties is pink because I mixed the coconut yogurt with the beet crystals.
Play around with this recipe and have fun!

High protein and filled with healthy unsaturated fats, these make great snacks for adults on the go. My child also loves them made with cacao instead of protein powder. Great to avoid feeling anxious or irritated from skipping a meal. All the benefits of ingredients are listed along with the recipe.
I literally crave this dessert and it’s made from chickpeas! The peanut butter increases the protein content and I list all the benefits of eating beans.
This is the best cake I’ve ever eaten! Plus, the ingredients are amazing. All nutritious whole foods without any oils, gluten or dairy.
These have the best creamy texture and they’re loaded with protein and fat to keep blood sugars more balanced when eating something sweeter!
